What does Causeview look at to populate the different Stewardship Profile fields? What are the criteria for each field? Face to Face Meetings Total Stewardship Phone Calls Acknowledgement Letter Emails Personal Emails
It uses the "Type" field for a Task. The Stewardship Profile fields provide a roll-up of each type of task as well as a roll-up of emails sent to the constituent.
So is the Task Type picklist supposed to be customized to have those exact values, since it isn't customized that way out of the box?
And what do you mean by "roll-constituent"?
The "Type" picklist is a native Causeview field. If you do not see it on the page layout, you may want to edit the page and add it and also ensure that the field-level security is set to visible.
My apologies, I meant to say a roll-up of emails sent to the constituent. I think my reply may have gotten cut-off.
I'm looking a brand-new Causeview instance and there is no custom Causeview field called "Type" on Activities, there is only the standard Salesforce Activity Type field, and the values on it are Call, Meeting, Other. So I'm wondering if I am supposed to customize the standard Salesforce Activity Type picklist to have certain values, so that the Stewardship Profile will work.

The roll-ups are looking specifically at the "Type" field on the Task and not on the Event. I've tried adding the same values to the picklist but it doesn't seem to recognize them.
Hi Karen - I'm afraid I don't follow. I can add additional values to the standard Salesforce Activity/Task Type field, but I want to know what those picklist values should be.

The Stewardship Profile fields is a count (roll-up) from the Type field specifically on Tasks and not Events. If you add the same values as the Stewardship Profile fields to the Type picklist, then it will roll-up. For example, if you add "Face to Face Meetings" to the Type picklist for Tasks and then create a Task and select this value from the picklist, then it will display a value of "1" in Face to Face Meetings in the Stewardship Profile.
Hi Karen, I tested this by adding the values "Face to Face Meetings" "Phone Calls" and "Emails" to the Task Type picklist. I created some Tasks with these Types but I still was not seeing any values in the Stewardship Profile fields.
Then I modified the picklist values to "Face to Face Meeting" "Phone Call" and "Email" and saw that the "Face to Face Meetings" and "Phone Calls" fields were populated on Individual, but not the "Emails" field. Can you please check whether there are different criteria for populating this field?
I consulted with our product team and it is rolling up from Tasks of type "Automated Email".
Is the rollup running every day? I can see the Apex trigger named Stewardship Rollup, but don't know whether it is always scheduled, and the rollup frequency. I created some test Tasks with the relevant Types, and only two Types seemed to roll up, even after a week.
Can we get a proper response to this question? I need to know the following:
1) What is the necessary criteria in order to count Face to Face Meetings, Phone Calls, Acknowledgement Letter, Emails, Personal Email? I want the exact picklist values that are necessary in the "Type" Task picklist as well as any other criteria that must be fulfilled.
2) How often does the trigger run? Can it be prompted using the "Quick Contact Rollup" button?
Yesterday I created a Task assigned to my user record, related to an Individual record, Type = Face to Face Meeting and Status = Completed. I have clicked the Quick Contact Rollup button a few times over the last 24 hours, but the "Face to Face Meetings" field on the Individual's user record is still blank.
